Mana Veridi was a beautiful Human, female Jedi Knight of the Old Republic, with firey, red hair extending below her waist. Mana was a Jedi Knight selected by the Jedi Council for missions of special importance. On one such mission, the Jedi Council sent Mana to the planet of Kwannot to investigate a disturbance in the Force. However, Mana sent a distress signal from the planet to the Council to inform them of some danger she was in; however, she was unspecific. In response, the Jedi Council sent Jedi Master Qui-Gon Jinn and his student Obi-Wan Kenobi to assist Mana and discover the cause of her distress.

Once on Kwannot, Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan used the Force to guide them to Mana and found her in an alleyway injured and beaten. Unfortunately, before Mana could inform the two Jedi of the disturbance on Kwannot, Aurra Sing, Jedi assassin, emerged from the shadows and killed Mana using a blazing red lightsaber with a stab through the chest. Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan immediately engaged the Dark Jedi, obviously the source of Mana's distress call, in battle in the streets of a Kwannot city. It was obvious to Aurra Sing that she was no match for the two Jedi and used the shadows and alleyways of the city to flee the two Jedi. A Jedi Knight in her prime, cut down by a vicious killer, Mana Veridi became one with the Force that day on Kwannot.
